ADVANTAGE
• Easy to apply with tools such as brushes, rollers, trowels, etc.
• Completely seamless, without joints;
• Resistant to penetration by large tree roots;
• Excellent crack resistance;
• Excellent adhesion to most types of surfaces – concrete, steel, aluminum, wood, foam, etc.
• Can transfer a variety of substrates in one application;
• Good chemical resistance;
• Good thermal stability; • Good
abrasion and impact resistance; •
Non-reactive;
• Flexible at low temperatures;
• Very low water vapor permeability;
• Odorless;
• Contains no toxic vapors;
• No need for reinforcement in the transition zone;
• Can be used without primer in some applications (especially steel);
COLOR
• Base colour: Blue/grey…
• The manufacturer can supply the product in custom or bespoke colours (mixed to match any RAL number), but this may take additional time and cost.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Surface preparation
– Concrete
• Concrete and mortar surfaces must be fully cured (over 28 days);
• Check the concrete surface, if there are holes or holes, they must be patched with specialized repair mortar;
• Cracked or seeping areas will be grooved and sealed with sealant;
• Ensure that there is no contamination that affects adhesion, the allowable moisture content of the substrate is below 8%;
– Metal
• All types of dirt and impurities must be completely removed according to the supervisor’s instructions;
• The surface must be completely dry before coating.
2. Apply NEWTECOAT PRIMER primer
• Apply primer at a rate of 0.2~0.3 kg/m2. Can be used by spray, brush or roller.
• Recommended repainting interval is 4 hours at 25°C
3. NEWTECOAT PUA-BRUSH application
– After about 2 hours at 25°C after priming (base paint), prepare a NEWTECOAT PUA-BRUSH paint mixture with a mass ratio of 1:2 according to the exact calculation of the amount applied to each painted area with a minimum thickness of 1.5mm;
* Mixing process
• Stir component B (color component) for about 2~3 minutes. Then pour all component A (light yellow) into the component B tank and continue mixing for at least 3 minutes until the mixture is homogeneous.
– Note: Mix with a spiral paint stirrer at low speed and during the mixing process, the stirring blade should be immersed deep in the mixture to avoid air being drawn in.
• Apply NEWTECOAT PUA-BRUSH immediately after mixing with a specialized trowel onto the surface where the primer has been applied.
• Use a spiked roller to break the surface foam.
• Apply a single layer with the approved rate.
• In case of open-air construction, it is recommended to apply a NEWTECOAT TOPCOAT protective coating. The coating after construction has high aesthetics, very good abrasion resistance, and is durable under all weather conditions. Please refer to the product’s technical documentation
• In case of finishing the surface with mortar or tile adhesive layers, after applying the NEWTECOAT PUA-BRUSH layer for about 30 minutes, sprinkle or spray the surface of the NEWTECOAT PUA-BRUSH layer with completely dry sand, grain size 0.3 – 0.8mm. This helps create a rough surface for good adhesion to the above finishing layers.
* Note
• Only apply in dry, favorable weather conditions, do not apply when it is about to rain.
* Cleaning tools
• Clean construction tools with solvents such as xylene, toluene…;
SAFE
• Solvent-based products are flammable and should be kept away from heat and ignition sources;
• Use only in well-ventilated or well-ventilated areas;
• Wear protective glasses, shoes and gloves during application; • For further information, please contact NEWTEC GROUP
