The reality of difficult living conditions in Cam Phuc commune, Nghe An province

Cam Phuc commune is a remote mountainous area, far from the center, with extremely difficult transportation, many roads are treacherous, requiring climbing mountains and crossing streams. Currently, the national power grid has not yet reached the entire commune, and the living and production conditions of the people are still very limited. The local economy mainly relies on forest exploitation and self-sufficient production, resulting in precarious and unstable living conditions. The area is 100% ethnic minority, and the level of education and access to services such as education, health, law, and science and technology are still very limited.

Especially after the storms and floods, the lives of the people have become even more difficult as many houses have been damaged, roofs blown off, trees have fallen, roads have been severely eroded, production has been disrupted, crop failures have been prolonged, and diseases have broken out. Currently, the entire commune has 20 households classified as extremely disadvantaged, many of which are single-parent households, elderly people, or children with illnesses, and urgently need timely attention and support from society.
