Thu Duc Waterworks

The largest clean water treatment plant in the country with a capacity of 750,000 m³/day and night, was built in 1963 to serve clean water for the people of Saigon. The factory always invests and applies new technology to improve water supply productivity and ensure quality and efficiency in production and business while ensuring the longevity of the project. Clean water tanks No. 1 and 2 of Thu Duc Water Plant have a capacity of 90,000 m³. After more than 55 years of operation, the tank is corroded and degraded, leaking an average of over 2,000 m³/day and night.

NewTec has provided a polyurea waterproofing coating solution and directly constructed a durable coating product system that completely solves water leakage with a volume of over 40,000m² of concrete surface in tanks covered with a protective coating. The project has a 10-year warranty and material durability of over 30 years.
