Polyurea waterproofing is superior to any product on the market today in its ability to be applied in high humidity (up to 98%) and low temperature (down to -30°C). Polyurethanes can be sensitive to high humidity and moisture in the substrate. Therefore, they will react with atmospheric humidity or high humidity to produce carbon dioxide gas and cause foaming.
In contrast, humidity does not affect polyurea weatherproofing applications, which makes the paint color durable. The reaction of polyurea systems is so rapid that no moisture reaction can occur. Therefore, polyurea systems are not sensitive to humidity and do not typically produce carbon dioxide bubbles. This is an advantage in climates or areas with high humidity or dew points.
